See What Our Guests Are Saying About Captain Montague's

As Steven and I finish the other, and last half of our cinnamon roll, we're reminded of your kindness, and generosity, and cannot even begin to thank you enough for your kindness, as we look forward to many future stays with you at your Inn! We already can't wait to come back!
You are a gem, your hospitality -a bar set so high, and excellence isn't just met, it's exceeded through every act of your kindness and generosity.  You make people feel like family, through your sharing of stories, family history, and heirlooms like that picture you were presented with from the playhouse.  All will remain in our minds and in our hearts until we can all come back again.  We've never instantly enjoyed a place so much, or felt so welcome.
We're certainly looking forward to being "regulars" at Your Inn.  Wishing you and yours the absolute best of health, happiness, and success you so deserve!
With the greatest gratitude for the nicest memory...

We found the history of Huron and Captain Montague’s B&B very interesting. The home is in perfect condition, and Judy is so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and filling. If your looking for comfort that you can’t get at a hotel, then check out Captain Montague’s B&B the next time you visit Huron, Ohio.

Just left Captain Montegue’s. It’s hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay. Nancy made us feel not only at home but like family. The decor sparkled with authenticity and it was obvious that great care has been taken in decorating and furnishing this home. The walking tour around Captain Montague’s neighborhood was a delight. The bed was extremely compfy and the gourmet breakfast was fabulous. We WILL be back.

You will find a charming hostess to welcome you, a lovely room to spend the night and a delicious breakfast to begin your day. Within walking distance of Huron’s Boat Basin, there are many possibilities to entertain you throughout the summer months. The Boat Basin hosts various bands each weekend in the amphitheater or take in some of the local wineries that also feature live entertainment. Nearby excellent restaurants include (our favorite) Chez Francois in Vermillion and Crush or Zinc in Sandusky. Walk the beach of Lake Erie and try and find a “lucky stone”! Autumn offers the lovely foliage and some of the best apples I’ve ever tasted from Quarry Hill...whatever you decide to do, Captain Montague’s is a wonderful base to return to at the end of the day. Enjoy!
